Welcome to the Asian Society of Transplantation (AST).
Asia is home to more than half of the world’s population and the cradle of many ancient civilizations. Over last few decades Asia has become a global leader in transplantation, with many centers achieving outstanding clinical outcomes and saving thousands of lives.
At the same time, significant challenges remain, including shortage of deceased organ donation, disparities in access to transplantation and healthcare resources across our diverse region.
AST is committed to bringing together transplant professionals, in its biennial congress (CAST), from across Asia and worldwide, to share knowledge, promote education, support research, and foster collaboration. By working together, we can strengthen transplantation programs, improve patient outcomes, and advance the science and practice of transplantation throughout the region.
I would like to extend a special invitation to young transplant professionals. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and leadership will shape the future of transplantation in Asia. AST is dedicated to supporting you through webinars, and other scientific activities.
